The most glamorous of careers often hide many a sad story beneath. Winner of both the USA and World championships in hurdle events, Lolo Jones has reached her current standing after many years of hard work and an immense patience. Jones was raised with an extremely difficult and hardship-filled life being the daughter of a single mother with five children. Her mother was always in motion as well as having resided in a basement church for a short length of time. Jones, who lived in a mobile and nomadic lifestyle up until she enrolled in the high school system, was required the option of moving to a new school annually. Jones was kept apart from her parents at Theodore Roosevelt for the purpose of competing in athletics in track and field. Jones was part of four families throughout her time at high school in order study in one place. Jones was a cellist with the school's orchestra, and winner of Gatorade Iowa track and field award for athlete of the Year earned her the Gatorade Iowa Athlete Award towards the close of high school. Jones began her athletic career in the NCAA as one of the top hurdlers. The year 2002 was the time she won the winner of the 100-meter hurdles during the NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she participated on the team finishing second for 100-meter relay. Jones won both the indoor hurdles and the outdoor hurdles events at the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones completed her college education in 2005, started to work hard in track. In the same year, she won the Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she was the winner of the Ostrava Track race and Heusden.

Brandt relocated to Auckland, New Zealand, from Cape Town South Africa in late the adolescent years. Discovered by local casting directors Brandt took on the role as Naevia for the Starz smashes Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. She was one of the breakout stars for this show, working with Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi. Mazikeen appeared as the Vertigo/DC comics fans' favorite Mazikeen in Netflix's Lucifer that ran for a total of six years. Lucifer has broken the record of binge viewing and was named the top series to binge in 2021 according to Forbes. Brandt will be next in a 6 episode Walking Dead limited spin-off starring Andrew Lincoln and Danai Giurira and will be aired in 2024. Brandt is also set to star alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated series Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley-Ann Brandt was born 2nd December 1981, in Cape Town South Africa. She's an extremely talented New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt moved with her entire New Zealand family into Auckland in 1999. In Auckland Brandt started out as sales representative and was later elevated to the position of an IT expert. Lesley's professional career started with couple of model projects. Her appearances then included numerous commercials. In 2008 she graduated from her studies and enrolled in Meisner study methods. The first time she was a prominent actor, her work was with the TV drama arrangement Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt made a guest appearance on New Zealand's TV drama Shortland Street in the role of a second actor. She then appeared in This Is Not My Life. It is based off the real tale of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The character was later reprised as the character in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
