Srushti Deshmukh began preparations for the UPSC entrance in her third year in engineering. She wondered if engineering was the best career choice for her. Eventually, she realised that civil engineering was her love and focused on it. Parents encouraged her to prepare for civil service and to make a career serving the public. She was driven to be an IAS officer and was committed to achieve that goal. In order to be a candidate for UPSC the candidate must do more. She prepared for UPSC topics while studying her engineering. She allocated time for this examination preparation each day. Within just one and a quarter months, she passed her engineering tests, but stayed clear of any social interaction. Concentration is essential to be able to pass the exam. She is hoping to join a civil service. She was determined to get through the test with ease, and she was able to put in a lot of effort.
