Suranne Jones

Sarah Anne Jones is a British actress and producer better popularly known as her stage title Suranne Jones. Suranne Jones has gained fame acting as Ruth Slater in the miniseries "Unforgiven," Detective Rachel Bailey in the police procedural drama 'Scott & Bailey', and the GP Gemma Foster in the medical comedy 'Doctor Foster'. The actress is originally from Chadderton, Greater Manchester, Jones has joined in the Oldham Theatre Workshop and received her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts from them. The stage was her first experience for Jones at the age of eight old, portraying Gloria in a production of "Wait until Dark,". In 1997 the year she first appeared on screen in a 'Coronation Street' episode. In 2000, she was reintroduced in the soap to play Karen McDonald. In the following years, she appeared as a variety of TV characters such as 'Vincent"Strictly confidential," and 'Harley Street.'
